Known for blending Southern rock with traditional country, the group’s sound helped define ‘80s country music. The band, originally led by Randy Owen, scored massive hits like "Mountain Music" and "If You're Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)." With its down-to-earth vibe, Alabama became one of the best-selling country acts of all time, putting out 22 studio vinyl albums and earning numerous awards, including CMA Entertainer of the Year.
