    Stephen Stills is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known for shaping the sound of folk-rock in the 1960s and 70s. He co-founded Buffalo Springfield and later Crosby, Stills & Nash, two bands that defined an era with their mix of sharp lyrics and rich harmonies.
