    Foreigner is a classic rock band formed in 1976 by British guitarist Mick Jones and singer Lou Gramm, bringing together musicians from both the United States and the United Kingdom. Their self titled debut album Foreigner quickly made them popular with radio-friendly rock songs like “Feels Like the First Time” and “Cold as Ice.” Through the late 1970s and 1980s the band became known for mixing arena rock energy with melodic ballads, leading to major hits such as “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” Over time Foreigner sold tens of millions of records worldwide and remained a steady presence on classic rock radio and touring circuits.
