The New Gary Puckett & The Union Gap Album captures the group’s signature late-’60s sound, pairing Gary Puckett’s powerful, deep vocals with rich orchestral arrangements and catchy pop melodies. Released in 1969 on Columbia Records, this was the band’s fourth and final studio album of all new material. It features “This Girl Is a Woman Now,” a major hit that reached No. 9 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and “Don’t Give in to Him,” which also became a Top 20 hit.
