    Chicago 17 is Chicago was released in 1984 and delivered some of Chicago’s biggest songs, including “Hard Habit to Break,” “You’re the Inspiration,” and “Stay the Night.” Peter Cetera’s smooth vocals are front and center, and the band’s horns add enough character to keep it from sounding typical of any ’80s pop or rock record. It became Chicago’s best-selling album and was Cetera’s final studio album with the group, making it an especially important record in Chicago’s story.
