Released in 1970, it was the band’s third album and arrived just as their recording of Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock” was becoming a massive hit. The original UK version is a beautifully understated set built around songs by Ian Matthews, Neil Young, Jesse Winchester and others, with a relaxed, sun-drenched feel that makes it easy to see why this vinyl album has become a favorite among folk-rock and country-rock collectors. Just remember: “Woodstock” was added to the U.S. edition, it's not on the original UK pressing.
