The Labyrinth Soundtrack is a wonderfully unusual blend of fantasy, pop music, and cinematic atmosphere, featuring David Bowie’s unforgettable songs alongside the imaginative film score by Trevor Jones. Released in 1986, this 12-track soundtrack captures the magic, mystery, and eccentric charm of the cult favorite fantasy film starring Bowie as Jareth, the Goblin King, and Jennifer Connelly as Sarah. From the playful “Magic Dance” to the dreamy “As the World Falls Down” and the energetic “Underground,” the album mixes ’80s pop and synth-driven sounds with atmospheric orchestral music. It’s a nostalgic treat for Bowie fans, vinyl soundtracks collectors, and anyone who loves the wonderfully strange world of classic fantasy cinema.
