Released in 1969 on Mercury Records, this third studio album finds Spanky & Our Gang stretching their sunny pop sound into more playful, jazz-influenced arrangements, thoughtful songwriting, and unexpected musical turns. Featuring songs like “Anything You Choose,” “Give a Damn,” and “Without Rhyme or Reason,” the record showcases the group's trademark vocal harmonies while revealing a more experimental side of their music. It's a fascinating slice of late-'60s pop for listeners who enjoy clever songwriting, rich harmonies, and music that goes beyond the usual radio-friendly sound.
