    Ssssh is Ten Years After at full throttle! It's a gritty, guitar heavy blast of British blues-rock with a psychedelic edge. Released in 1969, it was the band’s breakthrough album in the U.S., reaching No. 20 on the Billboard 200, and its timing couldn’t have been better, because Ten Years After’s explosive Woodstock appearance helped put them firmly on the map. Alvin Lee’s fast, fiery guitar playing drives the record, while tracks such as “Bad Scene,” “Stoned Woman,” and their extended take on “Good Morning Little Schoolgirl” give the album plenty of muscle and attitude. With only eight tracks and a running time of about 33 minutes, Ssssh wastes little time getting to the good stuff.
